1973 – Tarek started his career as a free lancer.
1976 – Created the first private production house in Egypt.
1977 – Purchased the first 35mm camera in Egypt (owned by the private sector).
1978 – Purchased the first private sector editing machine in Egypt (moviola).
1979 – Created Tarek Nour Advertising.
1980 – Created the Art Boutique.
1983 – Established AAPIC , an Events, Conference & PR Company.
1984 – Created Direct Ad & Direct Mail.
1984 – Created Fotiades Print House.
1987 – Established TN Outdoors.
1988 – Produced the first TV program for the purpose of increasing viewership of
Tarek Nour Communications (TNC) ad – acquiring exclusivity in primetime.
1989 – Created the first full in-house video editing and post production facility
in Egypt, The Kitchen
1992 – Created TN Media, a media buying & planning agency.
1994 – DDB becomes an affiliate agency.
1995 – Established Egypt’s first chain of supermarkets for the purpose of data mining
consumer purchases for our agencies (sold to Sainsbury’s in 1999).
1996 – Created MCR, a Survey Based Research Company.
2000 – Establishing the central Creative Boutique to service all ad agencies.
2001 – TNC launches Starmaker©, the Middle East’s first reality program.
2004 – Established LUV Media for TV Programming & content distribution.
2005 – Created Ad-Venture – Outdoor Media Company.
2005 – Established TN Sudana, Sudan’s first agency, MBU and production house.
2006 – Established The Box, Sudan’s first outdoor network.
2006 – Launched Interactive Studios, the largest sound stage in the Middle East
2007 – Established Media Max.
2007 – Created the T-Room.
2008 – TNC partners with DDB Europe
2009- TNC opens the first Digital Advertising Agency in the group - POINTNOUR
2009- The launch of Cairo Centric “Al Kahera Wal Nas” A Ramadan only TV station
2010- Pointnour becomes part of the Tribal DDB Network under the name; Tribal DDB Cairo
