Ta2 Marboota

TNC launched the Ta2 Marboota campaign to promote women’s empowerment and battle negative stereotypes faced by women every day. The campaign was a huge success, gaining momentum across Egypt and the support of high-ranking officials in the Egyptian government. It even led to a movement that resulted in a legislation to ban female genital mutilation and encouraged Egypt to declare 2017 the year of women’s empowerment.
