This hilarious ad from NBE uses humor to drive home a serious anti-phishing message. The viewer is shown a series of still shots of a young woman named Hanna, who is out and about living her best life. We’re shown shots of Hanna at an amusement park, an arcade, a party, a dessert shop, and a jewelry shop. She deserves to splurge a little after saving up for so long, right? Wrong. Because that young woman isn’t really Hanna. The real Hanna is revealed in the following shot: An angry, frustrated middle-aged woman who is an unfortunate victim of an SMS phishing scam. The narrator warns NBE customers of falling for similar scams and sharing their data with people who claim to be bank representatives.
