Orange I AFCON " Wensh" I 2022

It’s the African Cup of Nations, and Egyptians will do anything to secure an 8th win. In this humorous ad, Egyptian football player Mahmoud Hamdy (also known as “El-Wensh”) is prevented by a garage attendant from riding home on his motorcycle. He claims that he could potentially risk injuring his back and there were important matches coming up. El-Wensh incredulously asks him how he’s supposed to get back home then. A couple passing by immediately offer to give him a ride home and insist he’s on their way. The garage attendant tries to force him to go with them by snatching his helmet and refusing to give it back. “Anything for the 8th! Bring it home!” Orange, the official sponsor of AFCON, reminds us at the end of the ad.
